Eli Clare

The Institute for Women’s and Gender Studies invites you to a talk by Eli Clare, traveling poet, storyteller, and social justice educator. Working at the intersections of queer, trans, anti-racist and disability studies, his writing has shaped generations of scholarship and activism. Clare’s latest book, Unfurl: Survivals, Survivals, and Dreaming, offers urgent reflections on resilience, vulnerability, and dreaming otherwise in the face of violence and precarity.
