April 7, 2026 - WGS Affiliate Dr. Jane McPherson has spent the last several years researching the fascinating history of the SSW building, formerly known as the “Athens Factory.” Her work has culminated in a multimedia installation she calls “Complex Cloth,” which includes photographs, newspaper clippings, narratives from millworkers and other media on display in the building and available on the project’s website. Congratulations to Dr. McPherson on this amazing project!
