How has your Women's and Gender Studies experience shaped your life and work post-graduation?

Provided me the awareness and emotional intelligence to understand true diversity and inclusion in and outside of work; as well as continue to be a strong female activist in my community. Allowed me to embrace my own differences and find pride in my personal growth.

What are your favorite memories from your time in Women's and Gender Studies at UGA? Courses, professors, events?

Participated and enjoyed being a part of the Women’s Studies symposium and Take Back the Night campaign; as well as the diverse discussions in classes with my peers. It also felt like a safe place that launched me to start the process of my own healing journey!
