Jack O. Balswick was a professor of Sociology at the University of Georgia from 1968-1982. He developed special research and teaching interests in gender roles and sexuality, men’s ministry, and family ministries. He was twice appointed as a Senior Fulbright Scholar (1972-1973 and 1981-1982) and has received a cross-cultural study fellowship in India (1974). Dr. Balswick has published over 75 articles in professional journals and has authored or coauthored 17 books.
