TELL US ABOUT YOUR CURRENT WORK (PAID OR UNPAID!)

I am the Associate Director of Annual Giving Communications at W&L. I help raise over $10M in unrestricted dollars annually for the university's most pressing needs.

HOW HAS YOUR WOMEN'S AND GENDER STUDIES EXPERIENCE SHAPED YOUR LIFE AND WORK POST-GRADUATION?

My feminist beliefs, rooted in my women's studies coursework, are with me in all I do, both personally and professionally.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE MEMORIES FROM YOUR TIME IN WOMEN'S AND GENDER STUDIES AT UGA? COURSES, PROFESSORS, EVENTS?

I have to say my most favorite memories are from working at IWS with all the amazing staff, professors and GTAs. I found so much fulfillment in planning the yearly Women's History Month events, the Coley Lectures and the Women and Girls in Georgia conferences.

ANY ADVICE FOR CURRENT WOMEN'S AND GENDER STUDIES STUDENTS (GRADUATE OR UNDERGRADUATE)?

Know that your studies rooted in the liberal arts and interdisciplinary studies will help you no matter what your career trajectory ends up being!
