April 16, 2026 - WGS Core Faculty Dr. Amna Qayyum has been awarded a 2026 Fellowship by the American Council of Learned Societies for her project “The War on Reproduction: Authoritarianism and the Global Politics of Family Planning in Pakistan.” ACLS Fellowships support outstanding scholarship in the humanities and social sciences, and they have awarded approximately $3.6 million in support to 60 scholars in the last year.
